JSC “RSRI “Electronstandart” has developed the reference material “Manufacturers of foreign electronic component base producing the advanced performance devices” (hereinafter the Reference material) within the framework of the authorized institution of the state customer of ECB in terms of consideration and coordination of the ECB certification methods and programs.
The reference material contains recommendations for selection of foreign ECB for enterprises dealing ith conformity assessment of technical parameters and operating characteristics of foreign ECB to the application conditions of electronic equipment as part of units, blocks and samples. Moreover, the Reference material contains recommendations for simplified documentation of technical rationales for selection of the foreign ECB certification test method.
The Reference material is approved by the the Radioelectronic Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The Reference material costs 15 000 rubles.

The Designated institution functions are:
- reviewing and coordination of programs and methods of ECB certification testing;
- performing expert examination of the technical justification of the selected ECB certification tests.
For approval of programs and methods of ECB certification testing, send the completed application to the address of the Authorized institution according to the established procedure.

The deputy director of the Department of radioelectronic industry of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation has approved the recommended practice for “The procedure of preparing the initial materials for technical expert evaluation of technical justifications for choosing the method of certification tests for the foreign electronic component base to confirm the conformity of the arms, military and special equipment samples to the application conditions in radioelectronic equipment”. The recommended practices are made available for the enterprises concerned upon request.
